We had the most amazing first week back with the arrival of our 10 chicks. Such a wonderful experience for the children. We were so lucky to see the very first pip of the egg and then see a few of them hatch out. They will be staying with us for the whole of this week so there will be lots of opportunities to hold them and enjoy them. Some of the Harting primary children popped over on Friday and met them which was lovely and the children got to say hello to their sept teachers!
Our tadpoles are getting bigger and we are awaiting the arrival of our caterpillars. Along with our stick insects who are laying 100’s of eggs we are like a mini zoo. So much fun.
Boogie mites was a huge hit last week and the children joined in so well. We will be sure to get some pictures and videos of this session to share with you. We are so lucky to have so many fantastic things happening right now.
REMINDERS:
*please send spare clothing for your child. With the weather getting warmer we are enjoying lots of water play so often need to change clothing.
*please return any spares your child borrows as we only have a limited supply. We always need more socks if anybody is sorting out.
*please start to send ice packs in lunch boxes to keep it cool.
*please apply sun cream before preschool and then pop a labelled bottle in your child’s bag so we can reapply.
