Dear parents,
What a great week we had. It all began with the discovery of a nest. What could it be? What clues could we find? By the end of the week we decided it was a dinosaur and it had started to crack. What will happen this week…….?
This week
We continue this week with our dinosaur exploring! We have an exciting surprise for the children too. We will let them tell you all about it.
Forest school
Hannah will be here this week, don’t forget to send your child in ready for forest school and please send in spare shoes to change into. It is very muddy outside and we don’t want to tread that through the hall. Thank you
Mother’s Day
Don’t forget we will be be having a Mother’s Day celebration on Friday 17th March, 8.30-9.30. Please come in and enjoy a cup of tea and some cake with your child if you can. Don’t forget to let us know if you can make it so we have enough cake!
Parish meeting
This Weds 1st March, the parish council are holding their annual meeting. This is a chance to see what is happening within the local area. All are welcome and I have attached the flyer for more information. Preschool will be there so come and say hello.
Save the date
Exciting news! Preschool are celebrating their 40th birthday this year! We have big plans for a family fun day on 1st July so please SAVE THE DATE. More on this to follow in the coming weeks but you won’t want to miss it!
Garden working party
We need your help. On Tues 4th April we are having a garden spruce up. There will be painting, cleaning and weeding to do. We also need somebody who can help us build a new plastic shed if possible? We would be very grateful for any help between 9-3pmthat day. Thank you in advance.
School ready
We have a getting ready for school evening planned for Thursday March 23rd. I will send a separate email out for this early this week with the details but it will be a great chance to chat with staff about our curriculum and how we are preparing the children for school in Sept and beyond.
