Bear Hunting

Dear Parents,

Well that was certainly a very interesting start to 2021 wasn’t it, but as always your children have got straight back into their play and had lots of fun. Our bear hunting last week was great and we enjoyed learning about other hibernating animals.

Following on from that, this week we will be exploring some more bear stories, eating porridge just like the 3 bears, putting the bowls, chairs and beds into size order and making marmalade sandwiches just like Paddington.

What a busy week!

We have got some new sanitising stations at preschool now that we have been lucky enough to purchase thanks to your help with fundraising last term. We felt this would help us with the current situation and continue to support good hand hygiene.

Unfortunately Boogie-mites and play-ball have been put on hold until we can invite them into the setting more safely, but don’t worry the children won’t miss out on these activities, they will just be later in the year.

Please continue to social distance from us as far as possible at the door, but should your child be upset we are still very happy to take them from you. We want to keep things as normal as possible for the children throughout this challenging time.

Over the next week we will be sending you our policy regarding Covid for you to look at, any questions please do ask.

Finally, please do keep your child home if they show any symptoms of the virus. We are continuing to work through this and trust that you will help protect us as much as possible by being open and honest with us. We, as staff will continue to keep ourselves as safe as we possibly can and will do the same.

That’s all for this week. Have a great week!

Leanne and team
