Chinese New Year

This week we are exploring Chinese New Year. We are starting tomorrow with food tasting. We have fortune cookies, lychees, prawn crackers, seaweed and bamboo shoots. This will be totally optional and the children can just look and smell the different foods if they prefer.

We will have some children’s chopsticks and noodles on the sensory table (great for fine motor skills) and will be making Chinese dragons, blossom trees and dressing up in Chinese clothing. A super fun week planned!

This is our last week at preschool before we break up for half term. We finish on Friday 12th Feb and return on Monday 22nd. This half term has flown by and we are so thankful we have been able to remain open to provide some normality for your little people.

Lots of reports have now gone onto tapestry. We hope you enjoy reading them and would love to see your comments at the bottom.

Have a great week everybody!
