Dear parents,
We are fast approaching Christmas and the children have been practicing so hard to learn our nativity songs. They have also been trying on their outfits and getting excited about showing you our performance.
This week we will be sending out your child’s parts and what they need (if anything) to complete their costumes. Please don’t buy anything special for this.
Our nativity filming is on Friday 3rd Dec and we would love all children to be in it if possible. They can be dropped off from 8.30 and collected again at midday please.
The same applies for Monday the 13th on show day, but children can be dropped from 1pm and our show will begin at 1.45. There will then be a sale of tea towels, our nativity, mince pies and mulled wine and a raffle. We aim to be finished by 3pm in time for school collection. We are open until 4 for any children booked in.
Our party is on tues 14th December and we would again love all children to attend if possible. This will be from 10.30-1pm and we will be putting a list of party food on the door soon for you to please bring in. Father Christmas has confirmed his appearance and will be giving the children a little gift. Again we finish at the normal times of 3pm and 4pm for children booked in. This is also the last day of term.
Please chat to one of us if your child can’t make any of these dates so we can plan for this.
Such a busy few weeks ahead!
Christmas cards
For those of you that ordered Christmas cards the expected delivery date is 3rd Dec. We will hand those out as soon as they arrive and let you know how much Preschool have raised from your orders.
Photography
Thank you for all of your photo orders from Adela. Preschool have raised £37.50 in commission from that which is brilliant.
Focus children planning
Our focus child planning is going really well and we feel like we are really engaging the children more than ever with the activities and experiences on offer. Thank you for supporting us so far and returning your child’s focus sheet on the date asked, it really is so lovely to be working so closely with you and your children to help them achieve their goals.
Snacks
If you can help us with any snack items we would be very grateful. Breadsticks, crackers, rice cakes and any fresh fruit/salad items are all very much appreciated.
This week
This week we have lots more fun stuff planned such as mark making in shaving foam, baking with Ioana and beginning some Christmas craft.
Have a great week all!
Leanne and team
