Happy Mother’s Day

Happy Mother’s Day to all of you lovely mums. We really hope you loved the gifts and cards the children worked hard to make for you.

This week we are going to start and plant our flowers in the little greenhouse we just purchased. This will allow us to grow so many lovely things together with the children and they can take responsibility for watering them which we know they will love.

As we are talking a lot about what plants need to grow we have decided to continue this with what WE need to grow. We will be measuring ourselves with our children’s tape measures, talking about brushing teeth, drinking lots of water and eating healthy foods.

Playball was a huge hit last week and Lorna the coach was so impressed with how able the children are physically. They also behaved beautifully and did lovely listening. Well done Monday children!

Boogie mites are joining us after Easter on a Tuesday morning, which we are really excited about. They use lots of recyclable materials to create the instruments they use which is great to see.

If you would like to donate to this we would again be very grateful. The session works out at £3 per week per child for 6 weeks. Absolutely no pressure to do so, just if you feel you can or would like to.

Don’t forget to take a look at tapestry. Staff work really hard to put on pictures and observations of your children enjoying the activities on offer and we would love you to see them. If you have any problems logging in then please let us know and we can help you get on. You can leave comments, likes and your own pictures and videos on there too.

Have a lovely week everybody!

Leanne and team
