Dear parents,
We hope you all had a wonderful Easter, it was lovely to see some sunshine for the first week at least. The sun shone for us on our garden day and we can’t wait to get back and make use of all of our lovely new resources.
Life cycles
We begin our new term with life cycles. Such a wonderful topic. We will be watching tadpoles turn into frogs, planting our own beanstalks and seeing how caterpillars turn into butterflies. We have so much planned.
Sun cream and hats
With the warmer weather coming please start to think about sending in suncream and hats (named please). We ask that on the hot days you apply a long lasting suncream to your child before they arrive and we will re-apply as needed.
Up to date information
Please make sure you have given us up to date telephone numbers for your child and are available to be contacted during the preschool day should they become unwell. If you are unable to be contacted please make sure your emergency contact given on your registration form will be.
If somebody different is collecting your child please let us know and provide us with a password. This is for safeguarding purposes.
School visits
We will be starting our Monday visits to Harting primary next week Monday 24th in the mornings. This is a great chance for the children to become familiar with the school environment. If your child is not going to Harting then they are still very welcome to come with us.
Andy and the dinosaurs
EXCITING NEWS!!!
Harting primary school recently entered an odd socks competition for anti bullying week and won a visit form from Andy Day and his band from CBeebies! They have very kindly invited us over to join them tomorrow 17th April. We will be leaving preschool at 1.40 and will be back by 3pm. Should we over run at all please be patient with us and we will return. The children will love it!
If you haven’t seen their fantastic video then head over to their Facebook page Harting CofE primary and check it out. They really were very deserving winners!
Have a great first week back everybody!
